Transport: Unnecessary movement of materials or finished goods.

Overprocessing: Performing more work than is required by the customer.
Inventory: Holding raw materials or goods beyond what is needed to support immediate production.
Defects: Production that results in scrap or requires rework.
Human Resources: Failing to utilize the minds and talents of employees by not getting them involved in improvement efforts.
